Daily Leader Tip: 3 Quick Meeting Wins

1/) Time - Google and Outlook calendars make it easy to schedule 30-minute or 60-minute meetings. Break the cycle and schedule 20 or 50 minutes ones. This will give your team some time back and to catch their breath before another meeting.

2/ Cancel - don’t be afraid to cancel meetings. When there are no agenda items and mainly updates, an email will often suffice. Be mindful that it’s expensive to get 5-10+ people into a meeting for even 20 minutes. Could their time be better spent elsewhere? Such as their personal development or preventative work.

3/ Meeting ownership - allow your team members to host the meeting. A new host with a new style and energy can work wonders for your meetings. Even inviting special guests now and again will add variety and keep everyone engaged.
